Firewall Template Widget Articles
A Firewall Template is a template of a firewall which can be repeatedly duplicated. Firewalls are network security features that help to prevent unauthorized network use by restricting connections to or from specific IP addresses. The Firewall Templates widget allows you to create and modify Firewall Templates.

Widget Layout

The Firewall Templates Widget can be filtered by and show the following fields:

  • Name
  • UUID
  • Default IN Action
  • Default OUT Action
  • Type
  • VDC
  • Created Date

Widget Operations

From within the Firewall Template Widget you can perform the following operations on one or more Firewall Templates at the same time:

  • Delete

You can also use the 'Create Firewall' button at any point to create a new Firewall Template, or the 'Manage' button to manage an individual Firewall Template.  Doing so will bring up a new dialog window.
