Creating a Snapshot Articles
To create a snapshot:

  1. Show the Resources page by clicking the Resources link in the top right hand corner of the screen.
     
  2. Click on the Snapshots tab. 

     
  3. On the Snapshots widget, click the Create Snapshot button.

     
  4. Specify the following:
    • Name - The name you want to give the snapshot.

    • From - Whether to create the snapshot from a disk or server. Note that your choice is restricted by your choice of hypervisor.

      Brinkster Cloud Services currently supports snapshots for disks.

    • Source - The name of the disk or server to create the snapshot from.
       
  5. Once these fields have been filled out appropriately, click the Save button. A job is submitted to create the snapshot.
