If your account has been set with a forced password update, webmail will request you to change your password as shown below.
The customer would go to the webmail and login like normal, by going to https://webmail.brinkster.com
**Note that accounts who have this Forced password selected will not be able to receive E-mails on their devices or clients until this password is changed from the online webmail.
- Next you will be asked to confirm the current password and then type a new password and confirm the new password then click login.
Your password is now changed, be sure to update any devices or E-mail clients to this new password.
Changing password from the online Webmail –
If you
are logged into your webmail you can change the password to your email account.
You can start this by logging into webmail (https://webmail.brinkster.com )
Go to preferences and click on “change password”
The next screen you would type in the current password
followed by the new password you specify which you type in two times.
Your password is now changed, be sure to update any devices or E-mail clients to this new password.
How to change your password from the E-mail manager as account administrator -
To change the password to your email account through the E-mail manager you must be the Brinkster administrator. You would go to https://www.brinkster.com/login.aspx and login.
-Once you are on the main Brinkster control panel you would click on the E-mail manager to list your email accounts.
- You will then see a list of your domain names: Click the one you are looking to manage the e-mail account under
- You will then select the specific email account you want to alter the password for on your list of email accounts.
You would then fill in the new password for your account under the "Password" and "Re-enter Password" Fields.
Then click on "Save Email account" at the bottom.
Your password is now changed, be sure to update any devices or E-mail clients to this new password.
