Setup Business Professional Email on an iPhone
Business Professional Email accounts can also synchronize your iPhone with your online email, calendar, and contacts.
Business Professional Email accounts can also synchronize with Microsoft Outlook and other active-sync enabled devices.
** This article applies to only Business Professional email accounts and does NOT apply to Premium email accounts
To setup a Business Professional Mailbox onto your iPhone, you will need the following information
1) Your email address
2) Your email password
3) The mail server mymail.brinkster.com
Configuring your iPhone:
Go to settings
- Accounts and passwords
- Choose Add Account
- Choose Microsoft Exchange
- Submit the appropriate details
- Email: you@yourdomain.com
- Password: yourpassword
- Description: you@yourdomain.com
Note: may get a notice about an identity of the server not verified (looks like its just failing) and needing to allow the trust the first time. Please do so by clicking the details button and in the top right corner should be a Trust option.
- Select 'Next'
- Confirm and Submit the appropriate details
- Email: you@yourdomain.com
- Server: mymail.brinkster.com
- Domain: **MUST LEAVE EMPTY**
- Username: you@yourdomain.com
- Password: yourpassword
- Description: you@yourdomain.com
- Select 'Next'
- Your iPhone will now verify your settings
- You will be asked what items you wish to synchronize with the server
Choose from the following items
- Mail
- Contacts
- Calendars
- Reminders
