How do I connect to my Windows account using FrontPage
1. Open FrontPage
2. In the "File" menu, choose "Open Web" or "Open Site"
3. In the pop-up form that appears, enter "http://YourUserName.brinkster.net".
Be sure to replace "YourUserName" with your Brinkster account UserName.
4. Use the login details below when prompted to enter your account information.
Publishing your application to the Web
1. Open Front Page
2. Open your application from your computer with Front Page
3. Select , File -> Publish Web
4. Click FrontPage or SharePoint Services.
5. Enter "http://YourUserName.brinkster.net" under Remote Web Site location.
Be sure to replace "YourUserName" with your Brinkster account UserName.
6. Use the login details below when prompted to enter your account information.
Username: BRINKSTER\Your Brinkster Account Username
Password: Your Brinkster Account Password
Problems?
If you experience problems connecting via FrontPage, please do the following:
1. Confirm that you are on a FrontPage enabled server. You can contact Brinkster Support at any time to find out if you are on one of these servers.
2. Confirm that you are using a supported version of FrontPage. FrontPage 98 is not supported. All versions after FrontPage 2000 are supported.
3. Make sure that you are using the correct settings for your version of FrontPage when connecting (see instructions above).
4. If you have completed all steps above and you still experience difficulty connecting via FrontPage, create a case file in your case manager with the following information:
a. Your UserName
b. The version of FrontPage that you are using
c. Your Operating System type and version
d. The exact settings that you are using when attempting to connect
e. The specific error message you are receiving
