How to Import PST to Brinkster Email
Importing Email to Brinkster: PST
** This article applies to BOTH Business Professional and Premium email accounts

You can import email, contacts, and calendars* to a Brinkster (Zimbra) email account from a previous email provider or other POP3 / IMAP mail account, provided you have a .pst file. A .pst file (Personal Storage Table) is created for email accounts connected through Microsoft Outlook, Pst files are also created by Outlook if exported (backed up).
*Calendars are only available with Business Professional email accounts and are NOT supported on Premium email accounts.
To Import from a PST file you will need the following items
1) Your full email address
2) Your email password
3) Hostname: mymail.brinkster.com
4) A .pst file
PST file location:
PST files are usually found on your local computer in this exact location:
c:\users\%username%\documents\Outlook Files\
- If you are unable to locate your PST file there, Open Microsoft Outlook
- Go to the account settings for your email account
- The location can be found in the "Data files" tab / section.
Import your PST file to Brinkster (Zimbra)
1) Download the PST to Zimbra import wizard here:
http://mymail.brinkster.com/downloads/ZCSPSTImportWizard-7.2.2.579.zip or https://www.zimbra.com/downloads/zimbra-migration-tools/
2) Unzip the compressed file
3) Execute the ZCSPSTImportWizard-7.xx.exe file
This file will NOT install on your local computer, but it will need permission to execute and run.
4) Follow the import wizard through the steps as shown below.
Fill in the required information:
Hostname: mymail.brinkster.com
(Use Secure Connection can be selected OR remain unselected)
Username: youremail@domain.com
Password: yourpassword
Browse for the PST file on your local computer:
Select the Items you wish to import from your pst file:
- Tasks and Calendar items are available for Business Professional accounts
- Tasks and Calendar items are NOT available for Premium accounts
These items can be left as default:
Finish the rest of the wizard, you can confirm your imported email, calendar, contacts, and tasks through https://webmail.brinkster.com/.
